These terms govern Star Refining's SMS/text messaging program, including how we handle your mobile information.

Star Refining (“Star Refining,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an SMS/text messaging program (the “Program”) that allows customers and prospective customers who opt in to receive recurring text messages from us. These may include account and service notifications, appointment and pickup confirmations, precious-metals market updates, promotions, and other information related to our services. By enrolling in the Program, you agree to these SMS Terms & Privacy.
You may enroll in the Program by (a) texting an opt-in keyword — such as JOIN, START, or SUBSCRIBE — to the number shown in our call-to-action, or (b) submitting a form or checking a consent box indicating that you agree to receive text messages. By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Star Refining at the mobile number you provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Star Refining. You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you are at least 18 years of age.
You will typically receive approximately 2–4 messages per month. Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with us and the campaigns you are enrolled in.
Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by, and payable to, your mobile service provider. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text or data plan. Star Refining is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier.
You can cancel the Program at any time by replying STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE or CANCEL) to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time confirmation message and then stop sending you messages under the Program. You may continue to receive messages for a short period while we process your request. If you opt out and later wish to rejoin, simply sign up again as you did the first time, and we will resume sending messages to you.

We respect your privacy. Star Refining will not sell, rent, or share your personal information — including your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or consent — with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use the information you provide only to operate the Program and provide the services you request — for example, to send the messages you opted in to receive and to respond to your inquiries. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us deliver text messages (such as our messaging platform provider) solely so that they can perform those services on our behalf, and who are contractually restricted from using it for any other purpose. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside of Star Refining’s control.
We may update these SMS Terms & Privacy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page. Your continued participation in the Program after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
